Heather has been an accountant since 1999 and earned a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Emmanuel College. Professional affiliations include the AICPA, as well as the NHSCPA (New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants). Her general areas of specialization include accounting, taxation and non-profit and HUD auditing. She is proficient in a number of computer applications including various tax programs and Microsoft Excel. Heather primarily assists Partner, Mike Murphy with his clients.

Lori has been with our firm since August of 1994. She has experience in the preparation of financial statements and business and individual tax returns. Her area of expertise is working closely with our clients providing various bookkeeping services and training clients to use QuickBooks software. Lori has an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Florida and an Associates Degree in Accounting from McIntosh College.

CAROLYN TURBIDE

Carolyn Turbide joined Murphy, Powers and Wilson CPAs in 2015. She has over 30 years of accounting experience and she has worked in both private businesses and public accounting. Carolyn is a graduate of Salem State College. She lives with her husband in Rowley, MA and has two adult children and one adorable grandson. Carolyn loves summer and in her spare time, you will find her gardening, mowing the lawn or relaxing by the pool.

DIANE STILLMAN

Diane started with our firm in January of 2013. Having worked in the private sector for 25 plus years, she has extensive bookkeeping experience with various types of industries and accounting software. In addition to working with bookkeeping clients, she is responsible for client payroll tax preparation. Diane has a Bacheldor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics (UNH).

SIOBHAN NORRIS

OFFICE MANAGER/OTHER
Siobhan joined our firm in June of 2000. Her primary responsibilities include functions ranging from company finances and billing to managing the day-to-day operations of the firm. In addition to her firm responsibilities, Siobhan provides many services to our clients ranging from bookkeeping to tax prep services. Siobhan has an Associate degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors Degree in Management. She is currently in the process of taking the Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent exams having passed one of three series.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Mary has worked in an accounting environment for 30 plus years and is a long-time employee of the firm having started with a predecessor firm in 1981. In December of 2016, Mary retired as a full time employee of the firm. She continues to assist us during her transition into retirement, training Mike Murphy's new assistant, May Watson. Mary will join us as a seasonal employee during this tax season.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
May began working at Murphy, Powers & Wilson in November of 2016. She is responsible for various company functions from being the "go-to" computer person to handling our library and licensing. May is also responsible for tracking the work of all clients for Partner, Mike Murphy. This includes processing tax returns and overall review of presentation of the final client information before release. May currently attends Granite State College where she is taking classes to finish her Bachelors in Business Administration.
